"Burn the Mortgage" Party

The Session is excited to announce that, due to faithful stewardship and responsible fiscal policy, we are able to pay-off the building’s mortgage on April 15th!  In celebration, there will be a “Burn the Mortgage” party on the 27th of April at 10:00 am, which will be held in conjunction with Lynda’s farewell, since Lynda was most helpful in the making of this decision.  Ken, our beloved American history scholar, will be proud of us as well, since we are accomplishing a feat our own federal government has not done since 1835 when Andrew Jackson was President!  So let’s meet in front of the Parlor on April 27th after the 9:00 am service to wish Lynda a happy farewell & the mortgage good riddance!!

1 Corinthians 1:18 - For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.”
